Open to individuals or teams the Hell On the Harbour Side event provides a unique test of strength and stamina as you run, walk and crawl your way around Whitehaven harbour and the surrounding area negotiating natural and manufactured obstacles within the event arena. The courses; Tough (4 miles) with over 15 obstacles and A la’al bit tougher (6miles) with over 20 obstacles are designed to test you to your limit.

Starting at 1pm on Sunday 19 May 2013 the event is being run on a ’not for profit’ basis, with the aim of raising money for Cash for Kids, North West Air Ambulance & Great North Air Ambulance charities.
Open to all abilities the courses - tough (approx 4miles) and A la’al bit tougher (approx 6miles) will allow you to test yourself to the limit.

The Course
Hell on the Harbourside courses have been designed by former military personnel as a test of strength and stamina utilising natural and manufactured obstacles within the harbour area.
Obstacle zones incorporate challenges such as the ‘steps of doom’ ’lugg muncher’ and ‘cobble hobble’

Cash for Kids raises money for children and young people who are suffering from abuse or neglect, who are disabled and have special needs, or who simply need extra care and guidance.
